Sunday. Lovely weather, so, premeditatedly, we went to Lalinski first. The švorceniger was already in the car. There's a largish rain ditch in front of the houses, on both sides, all over the village, so to avoid sliding in clogs, I brought Ender's sneakers, at least for that prat. Which turned out to be a fuckup, the work shoes from the garden would have served better, those are ideal, fitting snugly. This, however, was... too wide, fuckit he's got such feet, wide. I couldn't believe that footwear too wide can chafe as much as too tight can.
The poppies and other wild flowers in the yard were simply a riot. I tried to redo tis autopatch, hoping that it will turn out better than this, but nope, it couldn't match images. Riot.
Don't know how much did I manage to mow, maybe only the yard. Even just that was quite a lot. The sneakers thing probably happened next time. There's a large apricot tree in the yard, which forks rater low, less than a meter, and then grows at an angle. To prevent the tree from splitting under its own weight, the two main branches were tied with a chain, of some sizable calibre. The chain now can't be removed at all, the bark on both ends grew around it. The shade in the far left corner of the picture is of that tree.
From Lalinski to Klincaid there is a direct road, through a kind of badland, it's slatina, salty clay on which almost nothing grows except some grass, so it's a pasture. The wire was run along the curb, which will hit a sheep with electroshock on touch alone. The pavement is rather good first four kilometers, and then it suddenly turns into enormous potholes. Children could play in the water if those were filled. That lasts for about five kilometers, and then the road goes on to something Naftagas's, and there's a branch left to Klincaid. There's also some Naftagas's building, pipes going underground... and all around there's some crop growing, all green, can't be greener. And yet there's no chance that the soil is different from that on the pasture, geology never had the habit of respecting straight lines.
Approaching the village, the road becomes curvy, navigating between old riverbeds, this is where the old Begej changed course several times. If over there only sheeps were grazing, this part is for cows. For this shot I just had to stop and get out of the car. Cow bath.
