Sixteenth. Official photos of the twins started arriving, it's obviously some experienced photographer's work. The unusual part is the time when they arrive, around eight in the morning - well yes, the Philippines are seven or eight hours ahead of us, and they got acclimated to the local time long ago. They are so sweet and tiny. We train ourselves to spot the small differences, Sanda's cheeks are ending above the jawline, Linda's extend to it. And their ears are slightly different. Of course, they have different birthmarks, Linda's is somewhere between the kidneys, but that's not visible unless they are naked, so... cheeks will have to do.
Today I caught Siva (gray [one]) from two-three angles, watching us from top of the terrace door shade. It's incredible how you feel it, someone's watching me, even from behind. Any senses may evaporate, when was it that we found we felt the smells of different roses, and yet this rarely fails. Just like my sense of heat rays, I exactly feel a source of it falling on my face. Once in Kroger I felt an area heater which was hung high below the ceiling.
In the evening, don't know under what pretext and why exactly today, we went to pivnica. Guess because we didn't in a long while, so let's. Don't even remember which beer it was.
David, today:
Howdy Folks – before I head to UK /Belgium/Switzerland today (return on 27th) – Like to introduce a new member of Team, Karl. He is a Project Manager with a brief to Organize, High-Level, Projects/Installations/Development Pathways/Documentation across both North America and Euro (and everywhere else we operate!). Aware that things are in various cubby holes, Karl (who brings Large Enterprise experience, and worked with Briyesh on several) will try to bring a Project Management ‘Discipline’, Organization-wide, to bear. So that, among other things, timelines are established, and things don’t get lost in the fray and cubby holes (as We are All Busy, and Focused, on the Client Level). He lives outside Toronto, so Eastern North American Time Zone. One of several announcements I hope to make in the not-too-distant to add Resource (‘Man-Power’/’People Power’) to Development and Support, too. He will be with us Full Time and I’ve asked Geoff to get him email address etc.
So, workforce, “hope soon”. It’s not even “real soon now”. But we get more management, to get discipline. Fuck yeah. Sorry, did I say discipline? Nope, it's 'discipline'. I so love it when they use quotes, so you never know whether it's an equivalent of a wink or intended to emphasize. It's their ugly habit out there.
David's art of picking words to capitalize is higher poetry than I can comprehend. But I enjoy reading his proclamations loud, pronouncing every propercased word with as much emphasis as if it was a first word in a public address.
